Running childbirth classes privately limits many women’s access to this valuable source of preparation for labour, birth, breastfeeding and postpartum. The cost of good quality, independent childbirth classes excludes many families in our communities, which can in turn lead these families to be more at risk of receiving substandard or trauma-inducing care.

I feel very passionately that good quality antenatal education should be available for ALL families. My Connect sessions allow any families, not just those engaged with my programs, to come along and have a chat in a casual, free setting.

Families are welcome to ask me questions about pregnancy, care options, labour, birth, breastfeeding, parenting and postpartum. While I cannot give individual medical advice, I am happy to give general information & point you in the direction of further information and support if needed. You can also come along for the social aspect! You will find a welcoming group of people, who are happy to chat in a judgement-free and supportive space.

I welcome pregnant people (& their partners), as well as new parents to my sessions. The venue will always be baby and toddler friendly, and breastfeeding is welcome!

Women in Gippsland are often lacking many of the resources that their metropolitan-based counterparts can access, and this is my small way of trying to reduce that gap, while also working to support women and families through the massive transition that is growing, birthing & parenting a human!
